NFSI Walkway Auditor Program Overview

The National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI) Walkway Auditor Training program is designed to train individuals on the different types of flooring materials and how to properly maintain them.

Participants are given the NFSI Walkway Auditing Guideline and our instructor covers the material page by page so that the individual can leave our course fully trained on performing a walkway surface audit for their customers. Participants are introduced to three different types of Tribometers and are educated on the History of Tribometry. They will have hands-on experience with the devices as well.

Our State Farm Insurance representative will cover a program titled Recognizing Slip, Trip and Fall Hazards which gives the attendee an overview of the slip and fall problem and how they can assist in reducing accidents with proper prevention strategies.

Upon completion, participants will be issued a password and username to take the online exam and you will have 30 days to complete the test. Participants that complete all three days and score an 80% or higher on the exam will be issued a certificate of completion and will be certified by NFSI as a Walkway Auditor Safety Specialist for three years.

A one day review course will be provided to renew the certification every three years.
